Custom earmolds are made in the office for a variety of reasons. Some hearing aids require custom molds, as well as other applications such as custom musician plugs, noise protection, shooter plugs, swim plugs, and custom molds for iPods, iPads and cell phones
Hearing loss requires a thorough evaluation utilizing sophisticated equipment to accurately diagnosis the type and degree of hearing loss. A detailed explanation of the testing will be given, including the type and degree of hearing loss, the ability to understand speech, and professional recommendations will be made, based on the results of the evaluation.
Hearing Aid Prescription
If a hearing loss is identified and hearing aids are recommended based on the hearing testing, we will discuss with you how your hearing problem impacts your day-to-day life and the lives of your family, and if you are experiencing any other symptoms, such as ringing in the ears (tinnitus) or dizziness (vertigo).
Hearing Aid Fitting
At the time of the hearing aid fitting, the hearing aids are personalized for your specific hearing loss, utilizing computerized proprietary software. This setting can be determined by the computer but controlled by the hearing professional depending on individual preferences and maximizing
Hearing Aid Service & Repair
Need your hearing aid cleaned? Walk-in’s are welcome in the Aberdeen office. Complimentary cleaning of hearing aids is performed as a courtesy to all patients, regardless of where you got your hearing aids. Need your hearing aid checked or adjusted. Complimentary hearing aid checks and adjustments are available by appointment in the Aberdeen office and in any of our outreach clinics.
Hearing Care Professionals meets OSHA guidelines in providing industrial hearing testing and hearing conservation programs. For larger companies, on-the-job-site testing is conducted with mobile booth, equipment and staff. For smaller companies, hearing testing is provided in our main office and outreach clinics.
Hearing Care Professionals provides comprehensive diagnostic testing for physicians on a referral basis. Following the testing the physician receives a thorough report of the results of the evaluation, including recommendations.
